All Maxavita's products have been developed using a completely unique Cold Processing method so that the Green Lipped Mussel is dried in a drum within 1 minute at an ambient temperature. Therefore keeping all those important active ingredients within our extract providing the maximum benefit within your supplement. Green Lipped Mussel Powder has typically been prepared by either being cooked and then freeze dried, or crushed and then freeze dried. Keeping the extract within the Superna™ family we have patented this unique lipid and named it Supernol™ as the extract is oil based. Combining our lipid extract of Green Lipped Mussel with Menthol and two differing molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) we can ensure that the maximum amount will be absorbed into the joint tissue over the course of a day and offer targeted topical relief. What makes your product different from other Glucosamine based joint products?
Pernamax™ Sports Patch is based on the NZ Green Lipped Mussel. No other marine mammal is able to provide the level of fatty acids contained within them. Glucosamine is a good nutrient for the slow and progressive regeneration of vital joint tissue, however in the short term and arguably more importantly is, it offers no short-term relief from stiff and sore joints. We believe in Glucosamine for long-term use, which is why we add it to our tablets, however for a short-term product it will do nothing for stiffness and mobility.
