Pernamax Equine Gel
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic Acid, or HA as it is more commonly known, is an essential component of joint synovial fluid and connective tissue. It is used extensively in medicine for:
- Burns therapy
- Dermatology
- Post surgical care
- Ophthalmology
- Dentistry
- Joint therapy by intra-articular injection
There is very little proof that when taken orally, Hyaluronic Acid (HA) actually does anything at all. All of the results we have seen are from injecting HA into the affected area, which is why Pernamax™ Equine Gel and Pernamax Equine Patches are a much more horse friendly method of administering HA.
We have chosen to use Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is manufactured using an envorinmentally friendly fermentation method. Many other companies use HA which comes from chicken combs and bovine-ocular material. Please ask your current supplier to find out what you are actually feeding your horse!
