Amber was placed 9th at Squirrel's first ever JAS competition, qualifying for the final in March
Solihull JAS
Squirrel,White Walker came 5th in the Intro with a style mark of 7, and Sam, Grampion Knight 11th on 11. Squirrel qualified again with Sam missing qualification by one place.
Results from Millfiled
Squirrel jumped clear in the first round, helping the team to a 3rd and came idividual 7th on 14. In the second round, he got a style mark of 3 but with a fence down and some time faults they were pushed down to 4th with the team coming 3rd. Qualifying them in both classes for the NSEA JAS Champs in November.

Grampion Knight came 2nd in the Intro at the West Wilts and at JAS Hartpury Sam came 7th in the Intro, Squirrel came 6th in the PN and 12th in the Novice

Sam had one stop in the intro with Squirrel going double clear in the intro coming 16th on 18.

Amber and Sam (Grampion Knight)jumped a double clear on an unlucky dressage score of 41.5pens at Twesledown BE90 performing one of his best tests ever, leving Amber pleased with his first run of the season.
Aldon
Squirrel went clear in the XC in the BE100 at Aldon. He had an unfortunate SJ round with 2 fences down and a dressage of 39.5pens.
Larkhill Results
Squirrel came 3rd in the BE100 on 33 and double clear. Sam also went double clear in the BE100 but unfortunately had a bad Dressage score. Following Pony Racing at Larkhill Racecourse, it seemed Sam recognised the white railings!
Eventing Results May 09
Amber and Squirrel competed in their first Novice with a great SJ round and a Dressage score of 35. After a clear XC round, with just 3.6 time faults, Amber finished 8th. Well Done Amber!
Princethorpe Inter-Schools 2 Day Event
Amber and Squirrel came 6th in the Intermediate/Open, including a very big XC course, 29 in the Dressage and an unfortunate couple down in the SJ. The second day saw Squirrel inside the time on the roads, tracks, steeplechase and then clear inside the XC time. The Stonar team came 6th. Well done!!
West Wilts
Amber and Sam got a 36.5 Dressage score and double clear in the BE100 to finish 3rd!
Longleat
Amber came 7th in the JRN after a Dressage score of 39.5, one pole down in the SJ and clear XC, inside the time, with a big course. Well done Amber!
Stonar
Amber and "Jack Dash" came 9th in the BE100, on a Dressage of 34.5 with an unfortunate 2 jumps down, but clear inside the XC time.
Amber and Squirrel got a Dressage of 38.1, one down SJ and clear XC in the Novice with a 6.8 time.
Stockland Lovell
Amber had a much improved Dressage score and a double clear inside the time to come 3rd in the JRN!
Weekends results!
Squirrel went very well in the JRN at Wilton, finishing 9th, again with a fabulous clear XC inside the time. That is the 3rd JRN out of 3 he has now been placed in
Yately
Acco and Squirrel both jumped brilliantly, and Squirrel won the 1.20 amateur championship qual!
First 1* at Gatcombe
"Squirrel was amazing in the dressage, with a few stupid mistakes from me, as I was not used to riding in the 20x60...but I was quite pleased with a score of 58.7. After a really frustrating 2 down SJ, he flew clear round the XC with only 0.8 time faults."
Weston JRN Champs
Amber went to Weston JRN Champs at the weekend. Squirrel got 48.8 dressage, and was in the lead after the first day of dressage. They were lying 7th after all the dressage. After a clear inside the time XC we were 5th overnight and they held their position in the SJ to come individually 5th. The south west team came 2nd by 0.2 having led for the whole competition until the last phase!!
Amber is on form for the start of the season.
West Wilts on Tuesday night and Acco came 4th in the Discovery and Squirrel came 5th in the 1.05m with a double clear.
5th Feb,
I took Squirrel to West Wilts BD, where we won the novice on 68.9% and came 3rd in our first elementary.
7th Feb
we went to Hartpury BSJA where Squirrel jumped a brilliant double clear in the Foxhunter to come 2nd! Both Acco and Squirrel jumped very well
Burnham Beeches
We went to Burnham Beeches this weekend, and we took a 5 yo, Accolino 2, who went XC for the first time in his life two days before and went double clear in the BE90. Squirrel came fourth in the novice, also with a double clear
