Alex Liddle

Alex has been surrounded by horses all her life, she started eventing at the age of 14 following in the footsteps of her mother & family who competed representing their country. She has competed Legga Turbo successfully 2008 & 2009 after becoming well known on the Quorn hunting field. Currently competing 8 horses from BE100 to CIC 1* level with various owners she is proving herself an exciting prospect for the future.

Alex’s major goal is to compete at Burghley Horse Trials as soon as she is old enough, “all of a sudden three years doesn’t seem that long” !. But for now Alex aims to be selected for the JRN team at Western Park this autumn. Also to carry on successfully producing young horses.

Legs,15.2hh (nicknamed legs the super cob) has even got his own facebook group ! How cool is he ! Very bold big jumper. Grows to 17hh when he goes into dressage arena and get a little excited ! Got him as a four year old who had done nothing like all them we get from Ireland. Successfully going up the levels, hopefully doing some more 1* and progress further.

Thistle, 16hh. Very prickly mare, but she always gets me out of trouble. We got by accident as a unbroken 3 yr old. We backed her, and from then on she has been slowly produced. She has had many double clears and is an amazing horse for the future who will be doing some 1* and progress further though out the season, all being well and going to plan.

Light grey , 16.2hh. Very cheeky but exciting horse. We bought him from Ireland as a 4 yr old who had done nothing. He has progressed well through BE90 and BE100 and has just start doing some novices. His first novice which was a JRN at Brigstock he won.

Jasper, 16,3hh, is owned by Charlie Smith from Greenwood Ellis equine hospital in Newmarket. Jasper came to us initially to be schooled prior to the hunting season, but proved himself not only a brilliant hunter but also a talented eventer. He has only done a handful of events, but will be doing a few more towards the end of the season.

Dark Grey, 16.2hh. The dark grey was bought from Ireland as a rising 5 yr old. He is a very babyish, introverted horse, but is kind natured and always try’s his best. He has done well competing in BE90 and BE100 and will hopefully start doing some novices towards the end of the season.

Tc, 14,2hh. Tc is a very cool pony who will jump anything for you on any stride ! He has a great Temperament and you can do anything with him. He has competed well at BE90 and BE100 and he will carryon being produced this season.
