I have been riding since I was a few months old. I had various ponies that really taught me to ride as they were rather naughty! I joined the Burghley Pony club when I was 4 years old. My first horse was called ‘Rodney Trotter’. He taught me everything about eventing and introduced me to affiliated British eventing. He took me from pony club Novices right through to British eventing Intermediate Novice. In 2005 I had a really successful year and qualified for the Area Eventing Championships at Sansaw. It was against all the pony clubs in Great Britain and I finished 12th overall. We had a partnership for 5 years qualifying for many regional finals and the Junior Regional Championships. I then had a couple of horses after Rodders which were then sold. My next horse was called ‘Olympic du Loir’ and he is currently my best horse. I run alongside him the baby of the family called ‘No Pips’. I brought him to sell but he decided to try his heart out and turned out to be something that’s quite an exciting prospect! Here are a few of my results: • 12th Pony Club Area eventing Championships • 2nd Midland & Northeast Team at Junior Regional Championships at Weston Park • Finished in the top 25 at two International 1* three day events 2009 • Won and been placed in numerous Intro, Pre Novice, Novice and Intermediate classes • Qualified for the Intro Regional Finals, Pre Novice Regional Finals and Novice Regional finals • Qualified for the 5 Year Old young horse eventing Championship 2009
My aims for 2010: -Belton Intermediate -Brigstock CIC** -Barbury CIC** (Olympic) and Novice (Harry) -Osberton CCI** (Olympic) and CCI* (Harry)
