Jessica Hindle

Maxavita Sponsorship Jessica Hindle is an 19-year-old Mounted Games rider and has been riding since the age of 3. From an early age she was involved with everything from Pony Club including PPC, Show Jumping, Eventing and BSJA.

Mounted games is a branch of equestrian sport in which very fast games are performed by people of all ages on ponies up to a height of 14.2 hands. They require a high degree of athletic ability, good riding skills, hand-to-eye coordination, determination, perseverance, and a competitive spirit, which nevertheless requires an ability to work together with other riders and a willingness to help one another.

In 2003 Jessica represented Quantock Pony Club at Horse of the Year Show making the final and in 2005 went to The Horse of the Year show, this time with Devon and Somerset. In 2004 Jessica represented England in the multi-national team at the Royal Windsor Horse Show coming second. She also made the World Individual finals in 2005 coming 5th on her Pony Cornflake. Her first international competition was based in Switzerland after being selected to ride in the England team on Cornflake. Here they became European reserve champions. Since then Jessica has been training on her current pony Missy, riding in a handful of competitions this season and will be riding her next year in the main Sussex team. Jessica’s team Sussex, competed in Sweden, America and France last year. Winning in France and coming 2nd in America. This year they hope to hold their title in France and are going to America again to try and win the title.
